PT Indo Raya Kimia (IRK) is a leading producer of carbon disulfide in Asia Pacific, using the state of the art and environment friendly technology from Akzo Nobel.

Acquired by the Aditya Birla Group in January 2003, this plant is one of the best methane gas-based plants in the world and is designed with a highly sophisticated instrumentation, control and monitoring system to ensure reliable, safe and environment responsible operations.

The IRK plant has a capacity of 50,000 mtpa and caters to the domestic demand as well as exports to countries across the globe including South Korea, Australia, Japan, Thailand, India, Malaysia and South Africa.
